House Bill an Improvement for Women, Says Prominent Priest

House Bill an Improvement for Women, Says Prominent Priest

AMARILLO, Texas, April 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today praised the Missouri House for passing a bill that would make more information available to women considering abortion.

"To have the abortionist meet with the woman before the procedure is an important revision to the state's informed consent law. All the work we do with former abortionists makes it clear how unscrupulous they are. Roe vs. Wade itself talks about the responsibilities of the physician to safeguard the woman's health. If the abortion industry actually followed that aspect of what Roe vs. Wade says, America's women would be in better shape than they are now," said Fr. Pavone.
