Dr. Julie Bradshaw, M.B.E Joins Jim Clark on English Channel Expedition
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Jim Clark, athlete, entrepreneur, and Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Indianapolis based retirement planning firm Jim Clark and Associates will swim the English Channel to raise money for disadvantaged children. Dr. Julie Bradshaw, Great Brittan based Loughborough University lecturer, Long Distance & World Record Channel Swimmer, and humanitarian, has agreed to serve as official swimming coach and consultant for the expedition.

The Channel swim will be the focal point of a three-part event sponsored by Jim Clark and Associates.
Swimming for the Children English Channel Expedition SM.
Sometime between September 24, 2009, and October 1, 2009, Jim Clark will swim the English Channel to raise money for disadvantaged children. The purpose of the swim will be to raise awareness of the fact that every five seconds a disadvantaged child dies of malnutrition.
Swimming for the Children Scholarship SM
In October, 2008, Jim Clark and Associates will launch the Swimming for the Children Scholarship SM. High school and college students nationwide will have an opportunity to raise money for disadvantaged children. The purpose of the scholarship is to introduce young people to philanthropic endeavors, and to give them an opportunity to earn a scholarship. The project will be a real time demonstration of a very basic fundamental, that is, the surest way to get what you need is to help someone else get what he needs.
Swimming for the Children International Telethon SM
In December, 2009, Jim Clark and Associates will sponsor the Swimming for the Children International Telethon SM. The purpose of the telethon will be to raise $30,000,000.00 for disadvantaged children.
