Church Community Builder (CCB) Launches iPhone(tm) Interface for its Socially-Driven Church Management Solution

Church Community Builder (CCB) Launches iPhone(tm) Interface for its Socially-Driven Church Management Solution

MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- Church Community Builder (CCB) ( http://www.churchcommunitybuilder.com), the original web-based church management solution (ChMS), continues to add innovative new benefits to its socially-driven church management solution. In addition to helping churches foster greater community and connectedness, CCB continually develops capabilities that allow church leadership, staff, and volunteers to more easily access information about those in the church community. This week, CCB is launching an iPhone (TM) specific interface that will make it easier for church leaders to access vital information when out of the church office.

"CCB offers powerful tools to empower church staff and leadership as they serve and do ministry. The new iPhone interface is designed to convey vital information at a moment's notice. It also delivers the delightful user experience that iPhone devotees are so accustomed to" says Steve Caton, VP of sales and marketing for CCB.

CCB has offered a PDA/Mobile interface for some time; however, the new iPhone interface is designed specifically for that device and includes features not previously available. Users can add the CCB iPhone application icon to their iPhone Home Screen and quickly access important profile information on church members. They can access photos, email addresses, and phone numbers, and then immediately send a message or initiate a call. They can access maps and obtain driving directions. They can also view other important information about members such as birthdays, allergies, spiritual gifts, interests, hobbies, days available to serve, and more. Finally, with the correct privileges, a pastor can actually edit a member's profile, allowing them to quickly correct critical profile information on the fly. In short, the CCB iPhone application equips pastors, leaders, and volunteers to better know and serve those in their care even when they are away from the church office.

"Imagine how convenient it would be for church members to look up and contact new friends or small group participants right from their iPhone or other mobile device, without having to contact the church office," states Caton. "That makes building new relationships easier and more convenient for everyone." Of course all of this functionality is accompanied by the high levels of security and privacy that CCB is known for.
