Christians to Gather Outside the White House for Mid-day Prayer Vigil on Election Day

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 /Christian Newswire/ -- Group will be praying on Tuesday, November 4, at 12:30 P.M. in the southeastern corner of Lafayette Park across the street from the White House.

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition states, "This election is one of the most important Presidential elections in modern history. Therefore, it is imperative for people of faith to come before God in humility and repentance and ask for His guidance, blessing and mercy.

We will be praying from the Book of Daniel chapter 4 where it says, "Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayers of your servants, and our supplications, and let your face to shine upon your sanctuary...for we do not present our supplication before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies...O Lord, hear; O Lord forgive, O Lord, listen and act for your name's sake."

Rev. Mahoney will be available for comments regarding the elections all throughout the evening and early tomorrow.
