The 14th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards to be Held on Thursday, October 16, 2008

NASHVILLE, June 4 /Christian Newswire/ -- Power Source Music Group announces that the 14th Annual Inspirational Country Music Award Show (ICM's) will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at 7 PM CST at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The annual Inspirational Country Music Awards are dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent among artists who perform Christian and Inspirational Country music. Christian Country music is inspired by Faith, Family, and Country(TM).


The member-voted ICM Awards Show is the keynote event of Inspirational Country Week (ICM Week), slated for October 12-16. ICM Week will be held at Trinity Music City USA in Nashville, TN. This yearly event draws music fans, broadcast media (radio, print, and TV) and the industry's top artists to Nashville to showcase Christian Country music and to discuss industry related issues

Founder Gene Higgins said, "We are very excited about filling the air of Trinity Music City USA with the sounds of Christian and Inspirational Country music! We are going to have four daily shows in the theater, outside entertainment stages between shows, crafts, children's fun center and entertainment as we bring together the best of Christian Country and Country artists. Executive Director, Jason Higgins, announced that Multi-platinum recording artist Collin Raye will be hosting the show as well as performing. Collin has hosted a past ICM Award Show and has numerous projects involving Christian & Inspirational Music including: "The Gift," "The 11th Commandment," "Quitters," and "Soldier's Prayer."

Also, the Grammy award winning group, The Isaacs, is slated as the first performers added to the show. Previous show performers have included: Natalie Grant with Wynonna, Charlie Daniels, Andy Griggs, Lonestar, Jamie O'Neal, Josh Turner, Lee Greenwood, Emerson Drive, Richie McDonald, Linda Davis, Diamond Rio, Brian Littrell, Randy Owen, Melanie Walker, Jeff Bates, Del Way, Mike Manuel and many more.
