Activists Moving Forward with a Major Pro-Life Witness at the Democratic National

Convention in Denver this August.

DENVER, Colorado, March 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- Groups plan to hold large prayer vigils, demonstrations, rallies and concerts throughout the City of Denver during the Convention.

The name of event is called "A Prayer for Change," and more information can be obtained by going to the website www.aprayerforchange.com

Leaders of "A Prayer for Change," will be holding a news conference on Tuesday, March 18, as the City of Denver holds a lottery to determine the availability of downtown parks for different organizations during the Convention.

The news conference will be on Tuesday, March 18, at 1:00 P.M. at the Wellington Webb Municipal Building at 201 W. Colfax in Denver.

Danielle Versluys, the Program Director for Survivors, will be available for comments.

Ms. Versluys states, "It is our prayer that true change will come in 2008-that justice and mercy will return to our nation, the innocent children of America will be protected from death by abortion, and mothers and fathers will be spared the horrible pain and suffering that accompanies the tragedy of abortion.
